The story of Safeer Al-Baghdadi began in the late fifties of the last century, specifically in the year 1958 when Hajj Muhammad Rida Al-Baghdadi traded in furnishings in the Shorja market in central Baghdad, where he succeeded in obtaining an exclusive agency for the products of Fattah Pasha Factory in 1961.
After that, the interest in the field of furnishings & textiles increased among all members of the family, especially among the eldest son and our father, Hajj Muhammad Fouad Muhammad Reda Al-Baghdadi, who succeeded in expanding the furnishings trade through the ability to import various international products and introduce them to the Iraqi market and distribute them to various Iraqi governorates north and south to become one of The most important wholesalers in Baghdad, which contributed to being a member of the Baghdad Chamber of Commerce in the period between 2004 and 2006.
The furnishings trade continued to grow and expand, and Safeer Al-Baghdadi became one of the most important and largest companies in the furnishings trade in the Iraqi market under the leadership of Hajj Hassan Muhammad Fouad Al-Baghdadi, where our products - also known locally as England Home - became distinguished by their diversity and their ability to advance the needs of the market to unprecedented stages of In terms of designs and quality of textiles, it became an official registered company in 2017.
